About Little Anita
They call her Little Anita. At 5 feet tall and 44kg, she may be physically small, but the story she carries and the vision she is building are immense.
The Beginning
Anita’s journey began in Zimbabwe in the wake of loss. At just eight years old, she lost her mother, a nurse and single provider. That moment did not simply change her childhood. It forced her to understand survival earlier than any child should have to.
She learned that when life feels as though it is collapsing, strength is not always loud. Sometimes strength is getting through the next day, carrying what is heavy, and refusing to let pain have the final word.
Frontline Strength
In 2020, Anita brought that inner strength to England. Within three months, she was working as a nurse on the frontline of a global pandemic, helping lead a 100-bed facility through one of the most frightening periods in modern healthcare.
While caring for others under intense pressure, her own son was thousands of miles away. She saw the thin line between life and loss, not as a distant idea, but as something painfully real.
Rising From the Fire
Between 2024 and 2025, Anita faced emotional and financial devastation that brought her to breaking point. It was a season marked by pain, fear, exhaustion and the difficult reality of needing help.
Through the grace of a dedicated support system, including medical professionals, crisis teams and domestic abuse advocates, and through the unwavering love of her young son, Anita chose to stay. She chose to heal. She chose to rebuild.

The Little Anita Foundation is currently in development. Its vision is to support people navigating mental health pressure, crisis recovery, domestic abuse recovery, emotional devastation and the difficult road back to hope.
The aim is to honour the support systems that helped Anita survive, including crisis teams, medical professionals and advocates, while helping others access encouragement, resources and practical pathways towards recovery.
The foundation vision is rooted in one simple belief: no one should have to fight for their future alone.
